Now my second time and my go for place to stay on this beautiful island. i enjoy the tatami room, but also there is one room with a western bed. a kitchen with everything what is needed to prepare food and tea / coffee. I hope you enjoy this place like I do.

Very beautifull building right next to the beach. Our room was very big, kitchen area was clean and a nice place to hang out. The coffee was nice as well. Barbara is a very friendly and kind host who helps with all of your questions!

I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse, warmly welcomed by the amazing hosts. The price–quality ratio is honestly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and on my last day, Kami even prepared some homemade onigiri for me to take for lunch, they were so tasty and such a thoughtful gesture. I truly felt cared for throughout my stay. This was the best place I stayed at in Japan, and when I return to Amami, I will definitely come back here.

The host never disturb you, but if you need help, you can find them. And the all the supplies are very enough, the towel, the kitchen, the shampoo etc.

I had a warm welcome and amazing stay. I had mechanical problem on my bike and he lent me his own bicycle to visit Kakeromajima (beautiful !). My room was clear, fresh and super well equiped for a very good price. Arigato 🙏

Pension BLUE DROP se nachází v destinaci Jakušima a nabízí ubytování s klimatizací. Yakusugi Land je 29 km daleko, Shiratani Unsuikyo 47 km a Yumiyahachiman Shrine 10 km. We spent a wonderful time on Yakushima, thanks in no small part to Yuki's outstanding hospitality. Long before our arrival, she took care of all our organizational questions, sending us information about ferries, rental cars, ordering food, etc., and even booked it for us if you wanted. That was such a huge relief and really helped us have a stress-free start to our days in Yakushima. Such proactive support before the arrival is rare these days. I can highly recommend the Blue Drop guesthouse; a tastefully furnished house, decorated with Yuki's beautiful glass art and paintings, super clean, and with everything you need. She also gave us lots of tips on what to do on the islands and how to get there. Last but not least, the fantastic food deserves a mention, including the fresh sashimi, caught that same day by Yuki's husband. At night, the starry sky lights up above the guesthouse, and you fall full and tired into the super comfortable bed, looking forward to delicious sandwiches and a pleasant chat with your hosts in the morning. Definitely one of the best accommodations on our many trips!
