Situated in Awaji in the Hyogo region, 古民家ゲストハウス CHACHACHA AWAJI has a garden. It is set 42 km from Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and provides a shared kitchen. Everything was done with a lot of care. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The experience to stay at a tea house for a night is one of a kind.

Kotobukian 寿庵 in Awaji provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. It is situated 28 km from Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and offers a shared kitchen. This place was incredible, I booked it last minute as my wife was arriving late and we were travelling by camper so I wanted her to get a good rest. The location feels off grid but it's only a few minutes from Tadao Ando's Water Temple at Honpukuji. It's a exquisitely renovated Minka (old style Japanese home) with a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary. The couple that runs it are so nice. They also have a pottery atelier that they spend their days making wares at and have a nice gallery shop that you can purchase. I recommend the ocean view room. Sunrise was gorgeous. I would return to Awaji just to stay here again.

Toyooka guesthouse Hostel Act asub Toyookas, 11 km kaugusel Soun-ji templist. Kohapeal on restoran, tasuta eraparkla ja baar. Inaba Honke Institution ja Honganji tempel on 11 km kaugusel. Hosts were lovely. We stayed here and took a day trip to kinosaki onsen, facilities were open late even after we got back and it was warm, quiet and cozy. Beds were so comfortable and they had all the amenities you might need while traveling even for a hostel. Would be more than happy to stay here again!

Kobe Guesthouse MAYA asub Kobes, Kobe ülemererände ja kultuurilise koostöö keskusest 3,5 km ning Kobe Noeviri staadionist 8,6 km kaugusel. Külalistemajas on konditsioneeri ja ühise vannitoaga toad. Guest House Maya was one of the most memorable accomodations on my trip. It is a rather small, but super cozy guest house, where it is easy to catch a contact with other guests. The stuff was very helpful, friendly and eager to chat and exchange stories which I appreciated a lot. The reception and the common room spaces had a fun design and a pleasant atmosphere. Location, facilities, cleanlines were all good, but my favourite part about the place were definitely people. Hope to visit again :)

Book & Guesthouse Hitotomaru asub Toyookas ning pakub ainult täiskasvanutele mõeldud majutust koos baari ja ühise puhkeruumiga. Kohapeal on ühine köök, pakihoid ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The place was very beautiful and very convenient, right next to the beach. The sashimi dinner was amazing and the host was very nice. Highly recommended!

Shironoshita Guesthouse pakub majutust Himejis. Kõik toad on ühise vannitoaga. Kogu külalistemajas Shironoshita on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Samuti on olemas lameekraaniga televiisor. The house was was very clean, comfortable and well organized. A special mention goes to Tomo-san, my boyfriend and I suffered from food poisoning and weren't able to move to the next location, Tomo-san let us stay one more day even though that day was a festivity and the guesthouse was supposed to be closed. He really saved us and showed us what is the meaning of hospitality and generosity. I can only reccomand Shironoshita Guesthouse for all those who want to experience the true Japanese hospitality and warmth.

The friendly welcoming staff who took us on a tour of the attached movie theatre. The beds were the most comfortable I have slept in so far. The unique character and charm of the screening room.

The location of the property is within walking distance to the attraction places. Unless you have car, 10 to 20 minutes walking distance is acceptable. The property itself is well equipped and you just bring in your stuff and can stay there for a short break like your home. The property itself is a detached single story traditional house, and is a live show case about local Japanese culture. The owner also displays promotion materials about the local environs which suitable for new comer like us in the local community. The property is a quiet place. Having said that, depends on your requirement of "quiet", the property is adjoining to a main county road which means cars are passing through day and night, though not frequent. The owner is a nice gentleman and willing at all time to give you a helping hand in providing advices in the local community such as traveling, dining and sight seeing. To a traveler, a clean, comfort and safe place to stay is essential to release of uncertainty. The property and the owner do this well.
