This was my first experience with a room with a shared bathroom (well, if you don’t count living in a student dormitory 15 years ago), so I was quite pessimistic about such an option. In fact, the entire hotel is absolutely new and perfectly clean. There are only 7 rooms in the hotel, two bathrooms. The bathrooms are very warm, everything is perfectly clean, there is shampoo in individual packets. Contactless check-in through the web page did not work for me, but the host opened the door remotely when I called him on WhatsApp. The host speaks English. The location is right in the city center, we arrived in the city late but felt completely safe. Ferrara is a very charming town, there are no crowds of marginalized people on the streets as in some other places. This is a very good option for the price (45 euros), I recommend.

My husband enjoyed the restaurant and steak. Unfortunately, there were no vegetarian or pescatarian options for dinner, but that's expected from an Argentinian restaurant. Though the restaurant was full, we weren't disturbed in our room at all. The room was nice with a comfortable bed - perfect for resting. We left our car full of stuff in the parking lot next to the building - everything was fine.

Everything about the apartment was first class - furnishings, towels and bedclothes, tea/coffee and biscuits, lighting.... All very clean and luxurious.

Our room, Katerina, was so beautiful and so comfortable. Frederica has exceptional taste so there are beautiful furnishings everywhere and every detail for your comfort is provided. We loved our coffee in the morning with the fresh cookies and savoury crackers she provided for us. The best part is Frederica herself! She is incredibly kind and so helpful in booking reservations and giving wonderful advice about what to see and do in Bologna and the best places to eat exceptional dinners. I will happily stay here again and can very enthusiastically recommend her beautiful guesthouse!
