The bed was very comfortable and had a lot of pillows. The bathrooms were very clean. The girls from the front desk (Vena, Mahda, Dian, Talitha and Mutia) were extremely nice and helpful, they gave me recommendations, sent me maps and places to go to and they even helped me by calling an airline about a cancelled flight. I would 100% recommend. Also, great location and very good breakfast.

Our stay was short but absolutely great. The location of the place is very convenient, 20 minute walk from the train station. The room was on the smaller side, but we didn't spend too much time inside anyway, so that wasn't an issue. The place itself is great, room is clean, the garden and the hostel territory is nice with a lot of shaded areas to spend time if it gets too hot. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, homecooked local food. If you're planning to go see the temples in and around the city, this is a great place to stay, absolutely worth the money.

I usually wait to leave a review till after leave but keep extending)))). First when you walk in there is just very impressive artwork (talented Japanese artist mostly). Then the room - I booked a normal room but it was bigger actually 3-4 times bigger than a new york hotel room. just huge with huge couch. Then Pash (hope spell correct) was just super nice and helpful in every way. I didnt use the pool but it just done so well. I rarely leave reviews and only when I'm overly impressed with the value for price. Stayed in hotels and airbnb over 500 days straight days and this hits the Price Value top 5%. You can spend $500 a night and regret it or 20% of the Price and sleep just as well and enjoy. They hit the price value on spot.

Loved the ambience of the place, the architecture, the placement of the rooms, the open-ended lot with the view of the rice fields and that the family managing the property were super welcoming and gave excellent service.

All the girls and guys at the reception are kind, smiling and ready to help with anything you ask (I needed to visit a dentist for a broken tooth when I was there...). They speak good English. The second highlight is the garden, with beautiful plants and cozy seating, and a pool if you want to cool down. Breakfast is not included with the dorm bed, it's Rp 35k (sweet toast or omellette), included if you book a private room. If you are leaving early like we did for Borobudur, they will get up at 5am to make you a fresh breakfast to take with you. Coffee and tea is available the whole day, as well as water refill. The shower has warm water. There are also kitchen utensils, plates/cups if you want to prepare your own food. Book early, it is a popular place. I wanted to extend and they were booked, had to find another place nearby for my last night in Jogja. But the reception girls told me I can still come by to hang out in the garden, which I did! Great place.

I came for 3 nights and ended up spending a week!Great for anyone preferring a more tranquil setting, but not too far from town,.
