Starting from the arrival, to the visit in the restaurant and the visit to the bar, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was simply superb. Beds were comfortable and it was ideal for us as we were touring by motorbike. Safe free parking was also a big bonus for us.

Situated in the heart of York, The Bar Convent Guest House is only a 15-minute minute walk from the city centre and just over 300 metres from York Railway Station. Nice location right outside the city walls with about a 10 minute walk to the city centre, staff were very helpful and it was very silent which I appreciated a lot. There was also access to a lovely pantry with most necessities one could need. All in all I had a great stay.

All was great, the staff is great and friendly, they act with you like you're family! The room was amazing, the view is beautiful! Right in the middle of the village, its a must for every visitor of the Brontë village. The food was fantastic as well and the price was more than correct. It's a great memory, thanks!!

Set in secluded gardens, Clementine's Guest House, has free WiFi and characterful rooms. Clementine's Guest House. It's a truly beautiful place with a unique interior design that we loved. Findig our room was like climbing up the stairs in a maze (in a good way) and made us feel as if we were staying in a castle. The room was clean, with surprise Kit-Kat bars and Cadbury hot chocolate powder on the tea table. The bed was big and comfy, bathroom shower excellent with two shower heads. Staff was really nice and helpful (e.g. carrying my luggage to our room). We loved the little garden in the back and the location is also perfect, in a quiet area but ten minutes on foot from the city centre. We appreciated that at breakfast, the self-service table was monitored and restacked regularly. If we return to York, we would love to book this place again.

A boutique hotel in the heart of York just a 10-minute walk from York Minster. The vinyl record player in the room was a true gem. The reception area had a huge display of great records which added such a special touch. Also the dollhouse which covered coffee, tea and mugs was really nice. Staff and location just superb to explore this cute town without a car.

Situated on Whitby’s North Promenade, on Western Cliff, The Wheeldale offers cooked breakfasts, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Very friendly staff! Especially Jenna did really a great job and helped us planning our visit. The breakfast was really tasteful und good! We got everything we want to and food was served using regional products.

Castle By The Sea Scarborough se nachází v destinaci Scarborough a nabízí ubytování s sdíleným loungem, soukromým parkovištěm, terasou a barem. Pláž Scarborough North Bay Beach je 700 metrů daleko. You won't find a better hotel at this price point. The area is lovely and the view from the terrace is the best in town. The owner is absolutely determined to make this work and puts in a huge effort. My daughter left her toy here and he posted it back to us, which was extremely kind. In future, I would go for one of the king rooms as the double rooms are standard doubles.
