Posada La Torre de La Quintana is housed in a listed historical building that breathes an air of nobility and aristocracy, surrounded by the beautiful lush Cantabrian countryside. It also offers apartments located 800 metres from the main building. We stayed at the property for 1 night while walking the Camino Norte. The property is on the route. This is a boutique country inn and really nice. The breakfast was extra but well worth the price. We enjoyed our stay here.

Cute little pension with delightful decor and wonderful staff. Contemporary bathroom with great shower. Can’t recommend highly enough. Conveniently located on Camino Del Norte.

Casa Elisa Monegro. Is a recently renovated guest house in Monegro, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. The property has mountain and lake views. There is a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Beautiful location by the lake, nice restaurant / bar, clean rooms, kind and helpful owner that can speak English and helped us practice Spanish and recommend a good mechanic for our car. Great area for walking / biking.

The guest house has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. We liked very much the garden, breakfast and the very welcoming Emma and family. We could visit Altamira cave, Santander and many beautiful beaches nearby. It was a very pleasant stay, we would repeat if we come back to Cantabria.
