He suggested hiking trails running up and down the terraces so that we could observe nature and people very closely. On his trails were no tourists and in this really overcrowded touristic area was of great value for us. Thank you Jacky for sharing this experience with us and also for organising the transportation. Friendly and Hospitable Hosts: The highlight of my stay was definitely the hosts, who were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They were patient, sincere, and always willing to answer any questions I had. As locals with deep knowledge of the area, they offered professional and thoughtful suggestions, from sightseeing to local cuisine, which made my trip even more enjoyable and seamless. This was truly the most pleasant solo trip I've ever had. The hotel provides not only a comfortable place to stay but also a warm, home-like atmosphere that gives a strong sense of belonging. I will definitely come back and visit again! Highly recommended for solo travelers, and it would be great for families or friends too! Excellent Location: The hotel is very close to the ancient town, within walking distance of many attractions, and the area is quiet and convenient. It's also very easy to get around with carhailing apps, making transportation a breeze—ideal for travelers who enjoy exploring freely. Well-Equipped and Cozy Amenities: The hotel has a wonderfully warm and modern decor that truly feels like home. The room is fully equipped with everything you might need, from comfortable bedding to a functional kitchen and spotless bathroom, making it a very convenient place to stay. I especially appreciated the thoughtful little touches that make a solo traveler feel well taken care of.

Mama Naxi Guesthouse je rodinný hostel provozovaný místními obyvateli Nakhi a těší se 15-leté historii. Nabízí útulné ubytování v Lijiangu. Ve všech prostorách je zdarma dostupné Wi-Fi. Cosy room (Mama Naxi upgraded us from the standard double room to the deluxe family room!), super kind staff, great facilities, 10 min walking distance from the ancient city. Plus, Mama Naxi helped us book a ticket to Tiger Leaping Gorge and offered the service of sending our backpacks and luggage to Tina’s Guesthouse at the end of the trek (from which we booked the bus to Shangri-La). Highly recommended!

The manager Mandy took care of us in every detail and made us feel like home with her loving smiles. Mandy made Xilu Xiaoxie inn like coming back home.

We stayed here overnight while hiking along tiger leaping gorge. It's in a fantastic location with great views. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helped us book transport from Tina's back to Lijiang

I can't find the words to describe how perfect my stay was. The room was immaculate, the bedding extremely comfortable. The toiletries were top of the range. And the breakfasts... absolutely delicious! Located 2 minutes from the center, this hotel is ideal for a relaxing stay in Shaxi. The host, Lynn, was lovely and always helpful to this French tourist who doesn't speak Chinese (me)! She also sells pottery featuring the local cat mascot: Wa Mao. If I wasn't backpacking for six months, I would have loved to buy some, they're so cute. Just go! ☀️
