The breakfast was very nice, the backyard was very well decorated and calming. Our taxi driver from the train station called the guesthouse, so the owner came and picked up the luggage into the ancient city. Highly recommended . Thank you. Součástí hotelu byla restaurace, kde dobře vařili. Taktéž na snídani nám udělali na přání i něco, co se trošku podobalo evropské snídani. Velmi doporučuji. Při hledání hotelu se nevzdávejte, jeho název v latince nakonec najdete drobným písmem na vývěsním štítě. Je cca 100 m od Jižní brány.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing location, right in the center of ancient town of Pingyao but still very quiet. The room is very beautiful, clean and there is all you need for a comfortable stay. Ji is amazing. I highly recommend a short or longer stay at the Ji Family Courtyard Inn.

The staff is very friendly and help with everything. The combination of stone, wood and light makes the room very comfortable on top of the amazing chinese courtyard house look.

This is a family-run hotel with the whole family pitching in. They were delightful and keen to be helpful with lots of cups of tea, advice and assistance with purchasing tickets. It felt like I was staying with friends. Very little english, but fearless with using translation apps. Very thoughtful - gave me a bottle of water for the train home after dropping me at the station. The standout for this property was the staff. I wish them every success with their business.

The yards and the common areas are as if you were in a set of an ancient China’s movie.
