The room was bright and comfortable with awesome view from the windows. The breakfast was substantial and delicious with home made bread. It is quite and pleasant place, not faraway from Sankt Gallen.

The hotel and owners were lovely and very welcoming. It is in a quiet village where you can enjoy the countryside and stay away from the very touristy parts nearby, but can still go see them very easily (less than 10 mins away from all the popular hikes, and you get a great view of the mountains as you drive towards them). The dinner menu is great and the breakfast is filling with lots of variety. It gave us a chance to try the different sorts of local cheese!

Beautiful property with a gorgeous spacious room. The staff was very friendly (even with a little language barrier); they were super helpful and kind.

Adler Hotel se nachází v krásné tradiční budově ve stylu Appenzell, hned vedle centra města Appenzell, kam je zakázán vjezd automobilů. Matjaz was super nice, we felt welcome right away. We were upgraded to the Adler suite which was a bigger room with a nice large shower, vintage furniture and super comfy bed. At breakfast we were well looked after as well. We came with our dog without issue, they even said we could have him with us at breakfast.
