Staying at this ryokan in Hakone felt like coming home. The room was spacious with a stunning view I truly felt like I was living the Japanese dream. The futons were incredibly comfortable, and the fresh mountain air made everything feel even more special. Lisa and her brother are amazing hosts. They went above and beyond even helping us book a restaurant in another city when we were struggling. Their kindness and sincerity really touched us. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip. I can’t recommend it enough.

What a wonderful Host. Such a lovely little nice place to stay when you are in Hakone Area!

Very nice guest house with comfortable beds that feel like you are sleeping in a tree house. The kitchen had a basic equipment but still everything you need to cook simple meals. All the amenities were very clean. The guesthouse had a chill vibe, the other guests were friendly and considerate. The bar is very affordable and offers meals, too. Location is great, just a short walk (10mins) from the train station. The lady that checked us in was super friendly, gave us local recommendations and good overview of the activites in Hakone. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had everything we needed. Could not recommend this place more.

Great location, easy check in and check out. Great for an overnight stay to make a Hakone trip less stressful. The bar attached to it was lovely as well, and staff was friendly and accommodating. Had a lot of fun! If we ever come back to Hakone we'd surely stay here again :)
