Everything was perfect. Cosy, beautiful, super clean, the surrounding are magnificent, the full house is so well decorated, the bed is really comfortable, very calm, super nice staff, yummy breakfast with fresh products… the list could never end!

The view from the balkony upstairs is magical. The people who run this place are among the nicest hosts we have ever met. The room was decorated with loving attention to detail. Expect a historic building with all the charme and peculiarities this entails if it has not been renovated to a point where its basically a modern rebuild of an old house. When we go back to Scotland again, we would definitely stay there again if we come anywhere near the general area.

Where do I even start? Every single thing about Glenburnie House screamed BEAUTIFUL. From the gorgeous rose bushes that line the outside to being greeted by Graeme, the sweetest soul you will ever meet, who ran us through the initial details about our stay. From his welcoming, homely smile and demeanour, I knew this was the best place we could have chosen to stay in Oban. Little did we know how truly exceptional and wonderful this stay would turn out to be! We were led up to our rooms and I felt like I was home already: the spacious accommodations are all one needs to spends some quality time with loved ones. The beautiful furniture, the comfortable couches, the warm cosy bed, the small details in the decor items they put up really show how Graeme and Dan have given their hearts and souls to the place. Tea, coffee, local fresh fruits are on the house! The flat peaches I had there absolutely changed my life! We would look forward to getting a quick chat in with Graeme and Dan after each day of exploring, sharing our experiences and it was as if we had known each other forever. Glenburnie House is easily the BEST (understatement of the century) place we have stayed at: nearing the end of our visit it felt like I was leaving home, and sad as I was, I know I would be returning very soon and visiting frequently. Thank you Dan and Graeme, for the memories, the conversation, the fruit, the anecdotes, the beautiful smiles, thank you for being our home away from home 💜

Everything about the accomodation was excellent. Position, location, view, host, comfort of rooms, breakfast. Would definately go back there and have highly recommended to others.

The property is clean and comfortable. Though there were no vacancies it was quiet throughout the stay. The property is a short walk from the train station (google maps was a bit confused on this) — about ten minutes. Josephine was lovely and available when I couldn’t find my key (which I’d left in the room).
