The room was fantastic ,bed was amazingly comfortable .hosts very friendly ,excellent breakfast .ice machine was a good bonus .location petfect for trains and shops .great communication from hosts prior to checking in and out .nothing to much trouble for hosts

We were greeted with a handwritten welcome note in our room (plus cookies and chocolates!) from Liz, the owner of the inn. The inn and rooms are stately, warm and comfortable. It's 130 year old family home that has been upgraded with all the modern conveniences. The Scottish breakfast was excellent. Liz recommended the restaurant next door, which was terrific and very convenient. There was easy and safe parking on the street.. We recommend it and would definitely stay again, as it provides a great experience of a small Scottish inn.

location is perfect, right on the beach front (and the beach was beautiful) and the general area was very clean and lovely (much nicer than the English seasides we’re used to visiting). The property itself was very pretty and well maintained, and the room was exactly what we needed for a short 2-night stay, and very clean with all the amenities you’d expect such as hairdryer, iron, tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was great and definitely worth adding on.

The hotel was lovely as were the staff, the room was huge, and spotless, the breakfast was delicious and we could not fault it, if one thing it was too warm, however that was specific to us, we like cool however kept the window open.

Had a fabulous room with a view although we were in a family room have no doubt the other rooms were just as good. Very clean, spacious and mattresses were very comfortable. Owner was very helpful and friendly, best place to stay on our trip. Coffee & tea in room and welcome guide suggested some nice places to eat. Guest house has so much history and the harbour area is great for a nice walk. Directions were good and place easy to find and book in with no problems. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again...tks Andrew
