The location is beautiful, with idyllic scenery, a stunning river right next to the camp, and a lovely Spring Garden you can visit next door. The camp was set up based on our preferences, ensuring that our needs were met even before we checked in. While it is still camping, the camp is both comfortable and clean, and the wonderful stargazing at night adds to the experience. I highly recommend Mountain Camp at Mesilau to anyone seeking a unique, and for me, nostalgic experience. Whether you're a nature lover or just looking to take a break from the fast-paced city life, the Mountain Camp ticks all the boxes.

2 Separate Rooms (1 Queen size bed, 1 Twin bed), Air-conditioned & fan, Separate indoor bathroom (hot shower) & toilet, Forest swing, Private infinity pool, Outdoor shower, Outdoor kitchen. This was probably one of the most comfortable stay that I had. The location was dreamiest and peaceful. The staffs were literally the most nicest persons, always available and kind. The room was perfect, it did not lack anything at all. And the food was amazing. We were so lucky to start our holidays with this resort.

The tent offers air conditioning, a minibar, a terrace with sea views as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower. The room was very nice, like a tent but everything you need were inside. Meals were well prepared, cooked by staffs just before meal time. We saw lots of different fishes when snorkeling, and even saw a hornbill on the tree-top outside our tent. My son was very excited and happy about our stay in Ara Dinawan. If you plan to visit this island, recommend to stay at this resort instead of coming by one-day tour. You can enjoy the quite island and the private atmosphere from the late afternoon to the early morning.

The Mt Kinabalu view from our room was amazing! The staff was amazing, I lost my phone but got it back! Couldn't thank enough to the lady who found and kept my phone! The road going inside to the homestay is quite narrow and rocky. But you can park inside close to the homestay. The location of the homestay is quite close to the town (around 15-20mins), easy to commute in and out. The toilet is outside your room, not a sharing toilet. However, quite scary to go out in the middle of the night 😅
