This tent features a seating area, private entrance and dining area. We had an incredible stay at Yala Wild Hut. From the moment we booked, the communication was excellent—they reached out via WhatsApp with all the necessary details, making everything easy and straightforward. Upon arrival, we were picked up by jeep from the entrance, as the road to the campsite is a bit rough, but it’s only a 5-minute ride. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with refreshing drinks, and the staff assisted us with our luggage. The food was delicious—lunch was flavorful and a bit spicy for our taste, but still very tasty. After lunch, we took a complementary walk around the campsite, which was a great way to enjoy the surroundings. We then watched a stunning sunset while enjoying some snacks prepared by the staff. The host was incredibly friendly, attentive, and polite, making us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. Dinner was also fantastic, and the following morning, we went on a safari. While we didn’t have luck spotting leopards, we saw elephants, crocodiles, birds, deer, and peacocks. The safari was a memorable experience, though the driver seemed a bit rushed at times. Before the safari, we were served coffee and tea, which was a nice touch. Afterward, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast, and the staff arranged our transportation back. The jeep took us to the entrance, and once again, the staff helped with our luggage. The hut itself was charming, well-maintained, and very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the large bathroom had everything we needed. The location truly made us feel immersed in nature while still providing all the comforts. There were also friendly and well-behaved dogs on the property, adding to the homely feel. Overall, we had an unforgettable experience at Yala Wild Hut and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, nature-filled stay with great hospitality!

This features a super luxury tent with private plunge, pool and private tree house. This tent has a seating area, air conditioning and electric kettle. This is a 5 star glamping experience located in the middle of the jungle. The room is well airconditioned, very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We had a lovely dinner under the stars. A delicious huge breakfast was brought over to our room in the morning. It was an experience using the jacuzzi in the wild too. We were given a complimentary early morning walk in the vicinity of the hotel. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the wildlife we saw. The whole concept is eco-friendly. The ideal location to start from or end the day for a Yala safari tour. Certainly worth staying at.

This tent features air conditioning. This tent features air conditioning. The Luxury Tent can accommodate 3 persons with one extra bed. It is equipped with an attached bathroom having running water. Camp leopard gave us the ultimate experience! Great accommodation and a beautiful garden were we had dinner every night next to the camp fire. The full day safari is a must! We saw so much wild life, including a leopard and a bear and at lunch time we had a perfect spot at the river for a picnic and a swim. The host, Marc, went above and beyond to give us the best experience in Yala. He is fun and very knowledgeable about literally every animal and bird in the park. The next day we did a half safari and for the afternoon Marc had organized a safari in Udawalale (with the elephants) with their female ranger Chathu. She is wonderful, fun and knowledgeable and we had such a great time. We will definitely come back next year!

Just come back from a great two night stay at Green Villa, the staff were so lovely and attentive, couldn’t ask for more and nothing was too much! Couldn’t recommend this place enough

The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.

Peace, nature and a generous and warm host. The safari Prasad arranged was perfect - lots of elephants, a beautiful lotus lake, black- faced monkeys, lots of birds and only 3 other jeeps in the 4.5 hours. The rooms are clean, with a hammock next to a little stream, iguanas, peacocks, monkeys and eagles in the garden. Prasad's mum's coconut rotis are the best I had in my 3 weeks and the room and safari were great value. Thanamalwila has few tourists so unspoilt and the family will help with everything from bus bookings, travel advice to taking me to see a friends farm to see crops growing. The buses from Ella and Galle stop directly outside the homestay so it's really easy to get to. The safari is in Blocks 5 and 6 of Yala. If you want a peaceful safari then I highly recommend Prasad's place.

Very nice service, amazing tent, beautiful breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Don't book somewhere else safari tour, we had one day with highly recommended company and next day with them, it is good that we took this decision, it was many times more enjoyable, nice car, professional driver and ranger!!! Also we really enjoyed the stay with dog, he was taking care of us, sleeping outside, and didn't let any animals next to the tent. Nice protective dog, just keep in mind that this is not a pet. They are still semi wild, so needs to give them space and to know how to behave. Highly recommended place
