Ranil and his team undertook one of the largest study of Sloth Bears so they know a thing or two when it came to the safari. We spent a day ticking off the most wonderful array of wildlife. We were here as a family and couldn’t be more happy.

For the meals only option, safaris could be arranged with the camp directly, at an additional cost to be paid directly to the property. The staff at Big Game was absolutely wonderful. Everybody was very kind and helpful. The camp gives you a real safari experience. The facilities were very nice for a tent camping. We also really enjoyed the daily activities that were scheduled, the romantic apero aside the campfire and the tasty dinner by candle light. We planned our safari with them and got a wonderful guide who taught us everything about the Wilpattu national park and its inhabitants. Would definitely recommend

With his finnish friend, Inna, we remade the world around squid in coconut milk From the garden/grilled fish (bought together not far from the fishermen) and good local béer! recommend these paratas for breakfast. Decorated in rich and bright orange, all air-conditioned tents feature a spacious verandah with comfortable seating. En suite bathrooms are equipped with a relaxing rainshower. Hotel was right on the beach. We could swim in the pool and in the sea. Lovely comfortable and spacious room. Beautifully decorated. Indoor and outdoor showers were great. Food was exceptional in fact up with the best we've ever had. Service and staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Dolphin trip was fun and exhilarating even though we didn't see any dolphins due to bad weather.
