The staff and service was what stands out the most, they do their best to ensure you are always safe and clean. It's on the expensive side but what you are paying for is the extensive knowledge of the guide on the safari which is missing in other places. We have both learnt a lot about different animals and behaviours on this safari and it's an experience that will stay with us forever

Zařídili nám pěkně safari v jeepu s průvodcem Zionem, který opravdu dobře znal jak zvířata tak rostliny. Jídlo v ubytování bylo skvělé. Check in pozdě večer nebyl problém.

The fireplace is the standout feature of this tent. The tent features a washing machine, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a bath. I had a wonderful stay with Riswan and his family. They truly care about offering the best possible experience to their guests and sharing the beauty of their region. They even managed to organize a last-minute safari for me at a very reasonable price, especially considering how well the day went (great driver, breakfast + lunch included) – $50 for a half day, $95 for a full day. As for the wildlife, I was lucky not only in the park but also around the village where the guesthouse is located. It’s not uncommon to see one or even several elephants passing by – though of course, that’s up to Mother Nature! Overall, a fantastic experience. A big thank you to Riswan and his brother for their kindness and for taking the time to help me plan my route. Good to know: there’s a local bus that runs from the village to Puttalam for 150 LKR, 1h, starting around 7 AM, with connections to many other destinations from there.

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. They are really well organised! Everything went well! I loved the location, the staff and I ve never slept in a tent so comfortable!:):) They also organised the safari for us!

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. Such a nice place! Highly recommended if you want take a breake and forget about world for 1/2 nights. Ten was clean and cosy. We ate a delicious dinner in the middle of the forrest at night. Safari was very nice and what it the most important - not as commercial as others. The servise was very good! :)

With his finnish friend, Inna, we remade the world around squid in coconut milk From the garden/grilled fish (bought together not far from the fishermen) and good local béer! recommend these paratas for breakfast. This tent features a sofa, patio and private entrance. Dolphin Beach nabízí stylové a ekologické stany vedle soukromého úseku pláže Alankuda na Srí Lance. The beach location was wonderful. The tents were really comfortable and well-equipped. The swimming pool was quiet and sea two steps away. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind. Breakfast was amazing with delicious curries and dal, fruit and cakes and eggs etc. The staff arranged our dolphin boat trip and the dolphins swam around underneath us - a magical experience. Great spot for bird watching too. We highly recommend Dolphin Beach Resort - a very special place.
