United KingdomWe absolutely loved our stay in Percy hut. We stayed for one night for a girls evening and we couldn’t fault the stay. We had a booking at soho farmhouse which is about 10 minutes down the road and we were able to easily arrange a taxi to and from using 001 taxis. We then came back to the hut and spent the evening chilling out, playing cards and watching the stars. Jennie was so good at communicating and made our stay so lovely with personal touches such as fresh milk, eggs and flowers. There was a gorgeous horse in the field opposite who we enjoyed watching as the sun went down. Inside the hut everything has been considered and configured well. Can’t recommend enough!! Absolutely lovely stay.

PolandOur second stay at Abbey Farm in the Shepherd’s Hut The Roots was just as wonderful as the first! The peaceful surroundings, cozy and beautifully designed hut, and the warm hospitality made our visit truly special. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying the stunning countryside views was an absolute delight. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. We will definitely be back again!

We were very comfortable and really impressed with the thought and care that had gone into the tent. Sadly, only there for one rather wet night, but the rain stayed on the correct side of the canvas and we had a great time. We'll be back. More generally: looks like a good, well-drained site with level ground. Well-spaced pitches, nowhere too far from water, lots of electric hook-up points. It’s so peaceful and well set out, every tent has its own private outdoor space to enjoy the views. Thoughtful provisions like blankets, hot water bottles, wood and charcoal make it extra special. Bed was so comfy, we slept in till 10am one morning! Showers are really clean and cooking area provides you with all you need.
