United KingdomThis place is wonderful. Set on a mountain overlooking Vicuna. If you want tranquil this is for you.The view is stunning and my bedouin tent very comfortable. The owner Max was away during my stay but his amigo Gonzalo is a star! He made my two day stay memorable with stargazing at night , cooking and impromptu tours of the Elqui Valley.

South AfricaExcellent location close to all the major attractions of the region and a river to swim in within walking distance. The river water is amazing and not as cold as one would expect. Amador, Matias and Karlijn (volunteer) were excellent hosts who readily share all relevant information on the region and make great recommendations. Our room was clean and comfortable. Visiting the wine farm (Cavas del Valle), the brewery (Guayacán) and the pisco farm (ABA) is a must. Valle de Elqui is a magical place.

Great relaxing atmosphere, if you enjoy being in nature it's the right place for you. Nice tents with comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen, coffee and tea for free.
