We stayed twice, both times in sea facing rooms, on the 11th and 4th floor. The rooms were beautiful and the sea view was wonderful. The best rooms are 01 series so 121, 111 and so on, being large corner rooms with windows right across the room, corner and washrooms. The other sea facing rooms are also astonishingly good. The best views are from the highest floors as the lower rooms overlook the road and MRT line. The low floors are a torture due to the noise from the road, and the view is also blocked. Aim to be above the 7th floor if booking sea facing rooms. Definitely the best rooms (on account of the view) we have stayed in this year. The free breakfast was a welcome bonus. Great value overall. We were hesitant to book this hotel as it is quite a walk away from the MRT station. However the area is well served by bus and we discovered the bus system is linked to Google maps. Just put the location you need to get to on Google Maps and check the public transport option - it connects you seamlessly to your destination. Once we discovered this link with Google Maps we no longer needed to walk to the hotel. There are probably a dozen buses connecting the hotel to MRT and also to all locations in the Tansui area (like R26 to Fisherman's Wharf from Tansui). Getting around is super easy. We would recommend this hotel even for people interested in activities in the Beitou area as it is easily connected by public transport. Next time we travel to Taiwan we will aim to stay at this hotel for at least 7 days of our two week visit, so the entire time in Taipei. A great find at a great price.

Set in Wanli, an 11-minute walk from Guihou Fishing Port, CT Green Bay Hot-Spring Hotel has a fitness centre and leisure centre. The room is very spacious. I really like the hot spring and you have access to beach!😻

Set in Xizhi, 5 minutes’ drive from MRT Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre Station, Fushin Hotel Taipei features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Free parking is also available on site. Staff very friendly and very helpful.

Hotel Intrendy offers accommodation in Taishan, a 5-minute walk from Airport MRT Taishan Gueihe Station and a 10-minute walk from MRT Danfeng Station on Zhonghe-Xinlu Line. Beds were comfy. Shower and tub was an unusual set up but it worked. Staff was super helpful in getting us on our way to the various places we would go by calling cabs and letting the drivers know where we were going. It was really appreciated. It was just a few blocks away from the MRT. Super nice.

Only a 3-minute walk from Yehliu Natural Landscape, Inhouse Hotel Yehliu features comfortable accommodation with satellite TV and hot tub. Wow. 😍 Super comfortable beds, super soft pillows!!! Excellent maid service! My only complaint is the refrigerator was not cold enough and had jo controls we could find to turn it to colder. We forgot to ask the maid or front desk and just bought ice across the street at 7 Eleven. We had a partial mountain and ocean view. I can only imagine how beautiful the seaside view is. We visited the world famous GeoPark. We experienced local seafood across the street. The hotel free breakfast is great. Delicious fresh fruit was my favorite. The hotel has two restaurants to enjoy. The pizza dough is made so fresh!!
