Among Cairo hotels, Steigenberger El Tahrir secures a spectacular location in El Tahrir Square, overlooking the Egyptian museum, minutes away from Khan El Khalili Bazar, and in close proximity to... Mr. Abdul at the reception was exceptionally helpful. The room he gave us was quiet, as we had asked for, with very good bed, great shower, and spotlessly clean. The location of the hotel is excellent, in a short walking distance from the Egyptian Museum. The bar at the ground floor is great and so is the breakfast, the a la carte restaurant and the buffet restaurant. Special thanks also to our waitresses Mariam at the a la carte restaurant, and all the other staff who without exception made our stay very pleasant.

As for the staff all are very nice and respectful but spacial thanks to Mohammad he is one of the kind so helpful and nice he made us feel home and was worried about us when we get late, so me and my husband wants to thank him for helping making everything easier for us and feel warm in our stay, Miss Shaimaa was so lovely also and was on the details and so nice snd warm, also the owner is a real gentlemen that also welcomed us and we really felt cared of that we started thinking of moving in to Egypt 😁 Rooms we booked 2 one with the tub and one for the kids the triple beds the one with the tub and view its so nice and as pictures loved everything about it the decor the pillows and its quite to be honest also the view is so nice The breakfast is nice and yummy with the view its so exceptional

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel — the highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of the Pyramids from both the balcony and the rooftop. It’s truly something special, especially at sunset! The room was clean and well-maintained, and housekeeping did a great job every day. Breakfast was simple but fresh and satisfying, and you can always request extras if needed. What really stood out was the staff — incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready to help. They assisted me with local tours, transport, and were always checking in to make sure I was comfortable. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Pyramids entrance, and there are restaurants and cafes nearby. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Pyramids who’s looking for a clean, cozy place with a great view and a welcoming atmosphere.
