The setting was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are a fantastic mixture of beautifully maintained and wild, with woodland walks that are just stunning. The service was impeccable. Every single person was very kind and thoughtful and anticipated our every need. The castle is gorgeous, especially decorated for Christmas! Every meal we ate was also completely delicious. We are already counting the days until we can come back.

Super helpful upon check-in, we had been delayed by storms in London and they made sure our process was speedy, called the restaurant we had booked ahead of our reservation to warn them we may be a little late, and sorted our taxi ahead of time. We made my wife’s birthday dinner and it was all down to Hayfields staff. Our suite was immaculate, the breakfast was delicious. We would stay nowhere else when repeat visiting Cork as we do. The breakfast was excellent and the view from the breakfast room was brilliant. The view from the room was great and the balcony was a treat.

Perfect location, beautiful building, incredible staff (friendly, helpful and efficient). I stay in 75+ hotels a year and this one is in the top few. Breakfast is nicely presented, delicious and fast. Staff are very attentive. No negatives at all. Concierge is top notch.
