Situated right in the heart of Avilés' old town, Hotel Palacio de Aviles Affiliated by Melia is a tastefully converted, 17th-century palace. Featuring free Wi-Fi, it is located in Plaza de España. Breakfast was excellent, reception staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and cool, which was a lifesaver on these really hot days.

The location is brillant with spectacular views from every point on the property. We had a great room with a terrace looking straight at the mountains and valley. It was comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff were exceptional, from the welcoming at reception, the gentleman delivering our luggage from the car, the house staff and the restaurant staff. A particular message and thank you to Abdou head of the restaurant. Very generous and courteous with his time and manner.

ARTIEM Asturias offers a wellness centre with a hot tub, Hammam, sauna and gym. There is a outdoor pool; free WiFi is provided, and a free private parking is available on-site. We loved Artiem, it is very well organized, neat and attentive to details. Breakfast was really good, I loved the fact that eggs are made especially for you, the plate is hot and not from buffet. The staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful.
