The host is incredibly helpful, we checked in late and he gave me a very detailed instructions to let us in and it was very smooth, and we also checked out early which is also no problem. The view is amazing, you can see the main church thru the balcony especially at night. We had a short stay but a memorable one.

Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel & SPA is situated inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site. Featuring a on-site restaurant and free WiFi, the hotel is located 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. Absolutely fabulous stay. Great location, comfortable rooms. Spa was lovely and relaxing. We dined in restaurant onsite and it was absolutely fabulous- a great meal and experience. The maitre d' was a lovely person and he really added to our experience. I highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant for a high- class experience. Would love to stay here again.

Matera Cathedral se nachází 600 metrů daleko, MUSMA Museum 400 metrů a Casa Grotta nei Sassi 400 metrů.... Ubytovani je moc hezke, personal ochotny a mily. Snidani jsme si mohli vybrat a vse bylo chutne, vyber dostatecny. Lokalita super, v centru, vse je kousek. Zaroven v noci ticho a klid.

Agriturismo Nonna Rosa se nachází ve městě Matera, 12 minut jízdy od města Matera Sassi zapsaného na seznamu UNESCO, a nabízí gril a dětské hřiště. Na místě je neplacené soukromé parkoviště. Great location close to the centre. Very clean and new rooms were provided. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

The room was excellent and the views from the terrace were stunning. There was a good choice for breakfast which you could have on the terrace

Good breakfast and large parking available behind the hotel with electric charging ports. Been recently upgrade to very modern facilities. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful spacious room with one-of-a-kind bathroom built into a cave. Great location and spectacular views from the terrace (day and night!) Delicious breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff. An unforgettable experience!

Vetera Matera se nachází na výhodném místě ve čtvrti Sassi di Matera v destinaci Matera. Palombaro Lungo se nachází 500 metrů daleko, Matera Cathedral 300 metrů a MUSMA Museum 600 metrů. We absolutely loved our stay at Vetera Matera. We had a very late arrival, around 11pm, and the staff were beyond accomodating. Our transfer shuttle met us at the packing garage and the communication was seemless. Giovanni was at reception upon check in, and was an absolute delight. Francesco was also very helpful, with wine and snacks ready when requested even at such a late arrvial time. Both were so proud of the hotel and the area, full of great tips and lots of history about the hotel and the area. Our room was amazing, we had a terrace which was so great to see the view late at night. The breakfast was lovely too, and we were sad we were only there for one night! Can not recommend this hotel enough. A great location to discover the town, with the friendliest of staff! (Fillipe who carried our bags up and down those stairs and drove us back to our car was amazing as well).
