The Castle se nachází v destinaci Búðardalur v oblasti Vesturland a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a vířivku. The stay absolutely exceeded our expectations. We booked a cabin for a one-night stay after our long road trip from the northern region. The staff was exceptionally friendly; she even introduced us to the charming small town and the information about the stores and restaurants that are still open for business during winter. If you prefer cooking, there is a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely greenhouse available for shared use. Some comments mentioned that the room was too small. While it is true, it was more than enough for just sleeping. The beds (and the pillows) were the most comfortable ones we had during our 16-day trip in Iceland. We would absolutely recommend this place to others who are planning to visit the Westfjords and are looking for a convenient stop on the way to the west side. Oh - and the kind staff even remind us to go out to catch the stunning northern light! :D

This is a place with "soul". You can recognize right away how much love for details and work the owners put into it. It is just so cosy that you do not want to leave again. We also got a very warm welcome from Ágústa, who was so helpful. I can highly recommend this place.

Where to start, Before checking in we visited Kirkjufell and the waterfall and I think I could actually see this apartment from there :D The blue roof just shines. Upon entering, you're greeted by a washer and dryer, which was just perfect timing for us, The apartment has so much space and is just sooo comfortable. I wanted to pack up that lovely couch in the living room and take it back home with me. The views from both bedrooms are amazing (mountain range and Kirkjufell). Huge bathroom! The kitchen was well equipped with just about everything. Would love to return someday <3

Holt Inn se nachází na pláži v Holtu a má zahradu. K dispozici je sdílený lounge a dětské hřiště. Wi-Fi je dostupné zdarma. Všechny pokoje mají vlastní koupelnu a některé také výhled na hory. Amazing views to the mountains from the windows, beds were clean and comfortable, there was a bonus hot tub outside, which was very secluded. Tasty breakfast with a large selection. Options to rent bikes and helmets. Sheep outside, very friendly, had a lovely time petting them.

Beautiful, clean and nicely maintained hotel right at the heart of the town. Wonderful staff. Special thanks to Monika, a sweet and friendly host who was ready to accommodate our last min request for breakfast. Amazing breakfast. Everything was perfect. Not a false note anywhere.

Monica, the wonderful host, has truly thought of everything. Her experience in hospitality really shines through- from the spotless cleanliness and order to the little notes and labels that make everything feel easy and welcoming. The check-in was clear, simple, and completely stress-free, which set the tone for a relaxing stay. There’s a warm, authentic atmosphere here, yet it’s kept at the standard of a hotel. On top of that, the location is perfect. Stykkishólmur is such a beautiful little town, with colorful houses, a charming harbor, and a small hilltop offering a lovely viewpoint over the town.
