The most beautiful lodge we had the pleasure to stay at! Nested in the jungle, it felt like a dream to relax listening to the sound of the forest. Everything is beautiful at the Jungle Guide, and the staff is very kind and helpful. We even had the chance to listen to some of them playing the guitar and singing, it was lovely! I can't recommend it enough!

It's cozy, colourful, joyfu. They are all very helpful and kind, they can suggest or arrange tours and transportation. Thank you for having me, sharing dinners and advices. They have very cute rescued cats. Oh and tea and coffee if you want them anytime of the day. Perfect.

Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges - Family Friendly se nachází v destinaci Bukit Lawang a nabízí zahradu, terasu, masérské služby a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. The owner helped us to arrange the guide and airport taxi before arrival! When we arrived, my friend was not feeling well so the owner managed to change the duration of the trek and suggest other activities. Also, she managed to extend the stay and we kept the same room (from 1 night to 4 nights). We were pleased with nice food and hospitality like delivering food or tea to our room! Our room was upgraded to the family room which was more accessible from the river. I highly recommend this place!

Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking se nachází v destinaci Bukit Lawang a má zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Best place to stay in Bukit Lawang!! Beautiful location right on the river, surrounded by nature and beautiful views, a retreat from the busy-ness of town. It is only a short motorbike ride into town, and you can walk ~10 mins to get to an alfamart/indomaret. I did 2 days jungle trekking with Andi who was a great guide. We saw lots of orangutans and other wildlife, and he shared a lot of great information about the jungle. I went with a group and he was very attentive with the guests and everyone's different needs and comfort levels with the hiking. Dika, Dedek, and the rest of the family were so friendly and happy to answer any questions or help with anything, and make an amazing breakfast which is included. Andi arranged a car to and from the airport. Wifi was functional most of the time, which was helpful because I spent a lot of time working remotely in the restaurant. Bed in my room was very firm and comfortable, which is important to note because some different guesthouses where I've stayed have had very squishy, sinking beds. Bathroom has good showerhead water pressure, a western style toilet, and bidet. They provide toilet paper if needed. Towels also provided. Screens on windows prevent mosquitos from getting inside, and there is a fan inside the room for when it gets hot. Overall, a beautiful place to stay and a family business that makes you feel like family. Highly recommend!

Orangutan Treks Villa & Eco-Friendly Jungle Trekking Activities se nachází v destinaci Timbanglawang 1 a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, terasu a výhled do zahrady. We spent 3 nights in the Villa. We were extremely well received by the manager "Dady Cool" and his team. Everyone is kind, friendly and caring!!! They are available at any time of day to help you with anything! We also went for a jungle trekking that was just amazing ! I totally recommend booking activities with them ! For the villa, you'll find everything you need in your room (and if something missing, they will do their best to help) On top of that, the breakfast and the whole dining menu are really delicious. Don't hesitate to eat there, you won't regret it Thanks again to all the team for the amazing moments we spent there !

Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa se nachází v destinaci Bukit Lawang a nabízí zahradu. Tento penzion má terasu a výhled na hory. Na jídlo lze zajít do restaurace a na skleničku do baru. Bylo to nejlepší ubytování, jaké jsme měli na naší cestě po Malajsii a Indonésii. Tyson a jeho rodina byli skvělí. Tysonova teta nám vařila úžasná domácí jídla. A naši průvodci v džungli Bob a Usain byli výborní. Děkujeme Tysone za skvělý pobyt. Ondra a Boogeyman Stephany.

Green Travelodge Bukit Lawang se nachází v destinaci Bukit Lawang a nabízí ubytování s posezením. Na místě je k dispozici bezplatné Wi-Fi a soukromé parkoviště lze využívat za poplatek. The place is absolutely great! Located in quiet part of the village, on the edge of the jungle, yet close to village centre and easy to walk around. Huts are beautiful, surrounded by wonderfully maintained garden. Rooms are spacious, clean and nicely equiped. There is no aircon, but fan was enough. Breakfast is tasty. Personnel is very friendly and helpful, there is very nice atmosphere in this place. They organized transport for us to and from Bukit Lawang. They arranged for us village tour (sugar factory, rice fields etc.) and 1 day jungle trek with rafting at the end, and all was perfect. Our guides Eman and Rizky took super care of us, we felt very safe with them. They shares their jungle knowledge with us, they did great job to show us many animals. We saw orangutans, Thomas leaf monkeys, macaques, argus, monitor lizard! That was fantastic stay and great trek! Highly recommended!

Garden Inn exceeded our expectations. We are travelling the world for 3 months and Garden Inn has felt more like home than any other accomodation on our whole trip. The staff go above and beyond, tending to your every need and desire. The hotel provides comfort, the rooms and beds are big, it's curated, so you feel jungle like with rocks and wood inside. Breakfast was amazing!!! Included every day and if we wanted something else they would say sure no problem! We did day trips every day, including orangutan treks where the orangutans were so close yet still wild. Very special! Adi our personal guide took us to all excursions and was exceptional about telling us the story of the village, the rainforest, sustainability efforts, he felt like the village elder and was great speaking English! Thank you Adi!!! Mawan, Rudi and Findo also were the most amazing guides, playing with our 4 and 6 year old boys!!! And making every excursion fun!!! Thank you garden Inn for your hospitality!!!

Sarah was very communicative during the booking process too. Eli the chef is really talented, we wished we could have eaten more there!

Iboih inn se nachází v destinaci Sabang a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, soukromou pláží a sdíleným loungem. Pláž Iboih Beach je 400 metrů daleko. The home-cooked breakfast every morning was excellent. Fresh food well-prepared. The owner, Ibu Saliza, remembered which foods I especially liked and made sure to serve them again and saved me some! She is also a great source of information and help. Saliza knows the flights and transport that Google doesn't and she will book them for you. Ask her anything about travel, local history, food, anything. She is a great person to chat with. The location was perfect. Nice and quiet all day and all evening. Good aircon for comfortable sleep at night, or sit out on the dock in the evening and enjoy the water and the stars. The snorkeling right off the dock was great--better than when I booked a seat on a dive boat. I initially booked three nights but extended to six, and wish I could have stayed longer!
