Everything necessary was on point. Washington machine, dryer, heaters in every room, TV with Netflix, dishwasher, stove, bread toasters etc, were of great use. The location is fantastic as it is 1 minute drive from the main highway, and the windows/balcony open to a superb view. The allotted free parking inside secure gates of great use. There is a sense of safety once you enter the gates compound with electric fencing all walls for safety.

The apartment was exceptionally beautiful,location is great & a walking distance to the mall & grocery stores. Walking distance to the waterfront. Many restaurants around. The apartment had brochures of activities & popular attractions around Knysna. Security was top notch, it was easy to get hold of the host and provided all the necessary information to make our stay comfortable.

Very nice and comfortable apartment. All, what you need, is present there! The kitchen is very well equipped.
The owner explained very well how to get in (the entrance to the territory, the keys etc) but we have not seen her.
Good beds, spacious rooms and bathrooms, very nice terrace!
The place is close to Thesen Island. The place gives you a very safe feeling.
Free tee/coffee. There was also oil, salt/pepper, sugar.
Also "special" lamps in case there is no electricity - very useful!

Staying at Mount joy was even better than we could have imagined. We enjoyed the view over the lagoon a lot and were crazy about dog Gilbert. He's an angel. Owners David and Johan were very kind and friendly as well and made us feel at home. We very much hope that we have the opportunity to come back here!
