Ambre Resort - All Inclusive is an adult only beach resort, situated along the sheltered bay of Palmar facing a white sandy beach. It features an outdoor pool, a spa, 3 restaurants and 2 bars.
“We have been to many hotels over the island but this one really stands out. The staff at this hotel are top class and really make you feel like a VIP. We are a Mauritian family of 4 ( eldest son is 20 and youngest 17). Iven (the manager) has found a great formula and his team do an exceptional job to always go the extra mile in putting a smile on our faces and in our hearts. Prince (at reception) gave us the VIP treatment the second we arrived till the very last second we left. Joanna did an excellent job to ensure that we were always being taken care of and was always close by checking in on us. Bhimal (Mr Energy) was excellent in his job and truly entertained us with his great humour and dance moves. He got the place buzzing in no time at all. In the 3 restaurants, we were happy to note that the service was standardised top class and people like Ravi, Deena, Ursule and Doro ensured we were always well looked after. The rooms are very spacious and spotless in their cleanliness as were the common areas. The hotel boasts 2 swimming pools and the beach is more than spacious enough to accommodate enough loungers for all. The water sports activities were well laid out and well thought of and if ever there is an excess demand, you may bide your wait with a match of darts, hoops, petanque or simply catch up on that much wanted tan. There was never a moment of not having anything to do. Our sons were more than happy with the facilities offered. All in all, this certainly was a memorable stay and the service was truly outstanding. We took an All Inclusive package which we got at a great bargain price. We would wholeheartedly recommend Ambre hotel to anyone (families included) and will definitely be going back there.”

“Resort was great for the family, and was really great value. Sea view room was perfect, amazing view of ocean and right next to pool. Superior room was nice size and they catered for my 1 & 8 year old as well. Food options where great and also non stop entertainment and activities for entire family and most of all great staff with excellent customer service, well done long beach, really impressed.”
