  “Excellent place for few days to spend around Strbske Pleso. Electric train can be reached easily, clean room, quiet area. Good price-value choice. About the staff: After checking out, I forgot my wallet in the room. They sent it to my address to Hungary, I got back all my cards, I.D. etc, and no money was missing. Very nice people, I recommend their place to anyone!”

• In the foothills of the High Tatras, Hotel Sosna is 10 km from Lucivna, Lopusna dolina ski areas and Strbske pleso ski area and lake. A Slovak restaurant is on site and WiFi is free.

  “We liked the staff and our room with its fantastic views. Basic food choice very acceptable. This is a good hotel with a young management team trying and doing their best to please. They succeeded. And as for value for money 20 out of 10 means we would have paid twice the price if they had charged it. Very good place to stay if you are visiting the well known Strbse Pleso region in the high Tatra mountains.”
