The Grand Hotel Donat is the crown jewel of Rogaška Slatina, the spa town in eastern Slovenia whose greatest wealth has always been its famous mineral water springs.
“Very convenient location if you want to take advantage of the medical center and the water pavilion to drink the water. Stuff was very polite and very professional. Hotel is very clean. We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel, many choices of food, GF items and vegetarian. One suggestion, if you go to take advantage of the spa make sure you book before or at least find out how busy they are. We were there during the Russian holidays and the place was packed, luckily we could have massages at the medical center and at another spa located in the same building.”

Everything is child-friendly (the owners have 3 children themselves), there's a playground nearby, large grass lawn, farm animals and activities, toys corner in the dining room - great place for a family stay and an ideal base for exploring the region. “Oranda Village is beautiful, we stayed at the cottage with the sauna and I really recommend that you try get the same one, it made us feel like we are in a little spa hotel of our own! The rooms and the patio are as spacious as they look on the photos and the kitchen has every piece of equipment you can think of, beds are super comfy, it's all very clean... It really is a great place to stay, we wished we had more time there, and if we ever go back to Rogaska we will definitely stay there again. Great location as well as it's sort of to the side of other hotels and gives you a feeling of privacy without being isolated. Highly recommended.”

They have great home grown and prepared food and, they use as much as possible bio ingredients. Lady who runs it is open for help in whatever you need. Nice children playground in front of the venue. Free Wi-Fi. Great location. Everything in line with info on Booking and working on adding much more offer. They have adorable little daughter Mila who played with our little son :) Our friends couldn't come as they work in a hospital and couldn't finish their work on time, so they didn't charge us for their no show.Thank you! We will come again for sure.”
