  “It’s very near the beach - just about 5 minutes on foot. The small path that leads up to the beach is just after the MAIA luxury resort. I think the beach is called Anse Louis which is a beautiful beach and not too many people are around... The host Maria is really wonderful - hospitable, helpful and friendly... Highly recommend this place if you like a quiet place to stay away from city life... The taxi from the airport to this house cost me 600/- Seychelles Rupees”

  With a beachfront location, MAISON BAWA By Little Bawa overlooks Anse la Mouche Beach and features free WiFi, air conditioning and floor-to-ceiling windows.

  “This place was beautiful. The views breathtaking from the small terrace balcony. Beds comfortable, air conditioning at a good state and place was very comfortable. The outside showers are amazing! Bear in mind only one of the two outside showers has hot water, which is not even a problem as the temperature in Seychelles really does not need hot water in a shower. Kitchen spacious, easy to cook (all knifes are not sharp, though). Towels and bed sheets fresh daily, place was cleaned daily (except weekends, I guess). The design of this villa is simply out of the world. The neighbors (as well as care takers) downstairs were very helpful and friendly. Do not hesitate to ask them questions about the area, island & beaches. Also, bear in mind that Seychelles have many dogs that live on the streets, and near this villa there is a house with several dogs running freely. They do not approach, if they do, they are friendly and simply hungry. However, at night - they bark! This is normal. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs or just simply close the doors for your room to the balcony (best for air conditioning anyways). Rent a car! Closest beach which is always beautiful is 1km from the villa (Anse Louis), however walking there is a challenge mainly because there are not pavements for people. There are many beaches near the villa. We only met Arnold (owner) once, however he was very professional and explained all details about security, wifi, TV & who will be our care takers during our stay.”

  “The welcome begun even before we got out of the airport...then the beautiful and memorable drive up to Anse Boileau. The place has everything you need, everything. The kitchen was stocked with basic supplies - milk, juice, you know. Having made no dinner plans, we were going out to eat when Lou offered us home-cooked dinner...that was quite a surprise and a wonderful gesture. We took the offer...then she offered us breakfast too...I can't say enough about the human touch here. The property location gives you a very good view of the ocean. A short walk downhill takes you to several beaches - yes, you have a choice of which beach to enjoy. You can choose a different spot each day...The tour of Mahe Island was fantastic - even in the rain....I am running out of space here to talk about all the other excellent stuff - the early morning blended fruit juice, the welcome coconut drink, the peace and quiet, the vista, the staff - always too willing to help and offer advice. I can go on and on. Let's just say - we had an excellent time at Yellow Petals and we cannot wait to go back and stay even longer. Thank you. Ruth”
