“Ryder, who runs the hostel is super friendly and a really great guy. Helped with bicycle hire and a fantastic horse riding trip. Lovely atmosphere in the hostel which is still evolving. Surrounded by great colourful music related artwork, which makes you feel happy! Village location with a rural feel, on the local bus route and plenty of good places to eat and visit nearby. Would recommend.”

“The service that Missy and Erwing provided made my stay truly memorable and comfortable. They arranged transportation, provided directions and sightseeing recommendations and overall made my stay in the jungle so enjoyable. Having breakfast with the other guests and staff was a nice way to start each day of adventure and sightseeing. Hurricane Otto was bearing down and they made additional arrangements and preparations for the guests and guesthouses to ensure they were safe and secure. Missy and Erwing arranged early travel and departure as the hurricane sped west across Nicaragua. They took exceptional care of all the guests, the workers and property prior to and after the arrival of the storm. The two new guest houses are nearly complete and are similar to the Jungle House layout--very comfortable and private with outstanding views, especially from the top level. Overall, my stay at Selvista was very memorable and am recommending it to friends and family to visit and enjoy peace and relaxation in a beautiful part of the world!”

“Everything was nice. The restaurant location was really cool The food and the service excellents. For us Finca's Magdalena's spot, outside the village, and really at the volcano's base were fantastic. I'd like to go back during the coffee harvest !”
