“Staff are one of the best we have ever come across in our time of travelling, so helpful and polite. We really will miss them. Island is beautiful with great snorkeling areas and the equipment is free. Diving and snorkeling were both wonderful. We saw sharks, turtles, manta rays and plenty of colorful fishes and corals. Prices really reasonable and free WIFI . All in all, I would recommend this place to all my friends.”

“I spent 10 nights at Holiday Cottage Thoddoo, in the new building close to the beach. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable and the food better than most restaurants on the island. The biggest selling point however, are the brothers that run it. They are the most generous hoteliers I have had the pleasure of meeting. I can not recommend highly enough.”

“The stay was more than just excellent. Mainly, because of the manager of the guest house, Ibrahim. At the very first day, he proposed us to get a drive with a scooter around the island, to show it to us. Later he asked that if we want he can arrange a cheap speed boat to Male at the day of our departure. Every time we wanted something he was picking us and we drivied to that place on the island. Bikini beach is like a paradise. With palms and white gorgeous sand. On the bikini beach he offered us to have a free water skii ride, free snorkeling (going by boat to reefs). Free fuits were given to us every day on the bikin beach. A scuba diving is relatively cheaper on Thoddoo island, it costs just 75$ per person, in comparison to 120$ on average elsewhere. And local reefs are just amazing. You can meet there huge turtles, sharks, stingrays, tonns of colorful fishes, etc. Actually, before even comming to the island, we have been contacted by the staff by email. They introduced some very useful information about an arrival, stay, etc. Rooms in the guest house are just amazing, with fency and huge (~13 sq. m) bathroom. The hotel manager, Ibrahim, showed us some restaraunts, were both, asian and wester, food could be ordered. The prices are around 12-15$ per person, however, the portions are huge. Rooms in the guest house are cleaned every morning.”

“Very nice place to be. Thoddoo island is amazing place full of kind people. The beach is absolutely amazing!! Hotel staff is really helpful, they can manage everything you want. Hotel is small with four rooms and nice garden. It is a quiet place, ideal for relax. Food is very good aswell. I reccomend to try their juice drinks, made from really fresh food!”

“We stayed for a week and liked totally everything. Owner and staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Room is nice furnitured. nothing special but all necessary things. Cleaning was done daily and well. There is personal cattle, so we could drink tea or coffee any time (both were provided). Food was a bit unusual but tasty. Equipment for snorkling is provided for free. Same with umbrellas in case of rain. Relax Residence is one of the closest to the tourist beach.”

“Maldives are truly incredible place. That's why it's amazing that the stuff and the organization in Dive Villa guest house was the thing them impressed me the most. 1. Everything was fully arranged, from the moment we arrived 2. You can see the Thoddoo because it's a native island 3. We've felt more then welcomed 4. The cuisine was great 5. There were different possibilities for various activities every day 6, The house is nice and clean with pretty good wifi. Thank You guys for the experience, for us the Maldives are at Dive Villa ! “This place is great to stay in. The room was clean, nicely simply equipped and they cleaned it every day during our stay which was a nice surprise. They offer local and continental breakfast. We enjoyed local one - very tasty. Owners provide different types of trips and activities which was great. Hussein was very kind, friendly host, he helped with transfer from port and to ferry, offered tasty dinner and always cared about us. For us it was also great to learn about island life from him. We enjoyed our stay here a lot and would come back again :) Thank you Hussein :)”

“I spent with my friend in Thoddoo Ocean Front only 3 nights but Musthafa made his best to do our holiday unforgettable. At the day of our arrival, night ferry to the island was cancelled but Musthafa arranged everything for us - hotel in Hulhumale, transfer and Adam who was waiting for us at the airport. At the arrival he welcomed us with fresh coconut. We had great breakfast included and tasty dinners for 10$. The rooms were clean, with bottle of water every day and they provided also towels (including beach towels). Musthafa provided us bicycles to go to the beach (that is not far also by walking) and snorkeling stuff too. He arranged for us great trips - night fishing, snorkeling next to the sandbank with lunch in other island. In general our stay was amazing and we would come back anytime. Thank you for everything Musthafa and we already miss you and the island. Adriana & Katarina”

“Everything was perfect: the island is very green, very nice, the beach is clean and very good, our apartment was also very good, everyday cleaning, everything what you need was there, if not -you can just call Azif, our price included breakfast - their Maldives one was very good and tasty, we also ordered a dinner - it was always fresh fish, salad, fruited and juice:) the owner of this guest house Azif is very nice person, always help us and gave good advices, he took us to the field of papaya and showed us an island)) We definitely come back a specially to this guest house because we became a good friends with Azif's family :-) Thank you for everything you have done for us!! P.S.: and thanks a lot for the farewell chocolate cake;) it was a pleasure to stay in your apartment and hope to see you again!”

“Blue Water is a special place where the 3 brothers Acmed, Abdulla and Mohamed take really good care of you. The bed and breakfast has 3 rooms which gives the place a family atmosphere. You can buy dinner made by Abdulla and Mohamed or make your own food in the kitchen. We tasted the grilled fish three times and it was fresh and delicious. We rented bikes, which was great for transportation to the supermarket and beach. Acmed was quick in answering all the mails, picked us up in the airport and drove us to the fruit ferry. On the island we were picked up at arrival. All the way we were taken good care of and we felt totally safe on the island. The local people are very friendly and caring and staying on the island was an eye opening experience. We could only pay in cash, but was told that in a few month, it will be possible to pay with Visa.”

“i was looking for a good place in Maldives almost 2 month. I need a good place to stay and super beach. Here i found a wonderful place with amazing people. The staff are polite and always wants to help you. If you need anything Ibrahim and his staff is there. We was there for 9 nights/13 February-22 February/ and our board was HB/breakfast and dinner/. The food for 9 days was different every day and every day the service boy clean the room. The beach is 10 minutes away from the house and almost any other hotel from the island. I love this beach and the ocean. The sand is white and the water is WOW. Near to the beach/20 m/- coral reef with large number of fishes.”
