Situated along the east coast of Mauritius in Trou d’Eau Douce, Friday Attitude offers air-conditioned rooms with direct access to a white sandy beach with thatched umbrellas.
“Positively Surprised :) - kind welcoming with 5 minute back massage, relaxing chill-out areas, modern room with sea view, wide beach, free snorkeling, free billiard, volleyball field, good breakfast buffet with egg station and a trip to paradisiacal Ile aux Cerfs island with the hotel free shuttle. Despite of 2 rainy hours on the island we had a very good time there. We made a walk around the island along the beach and saw sea urchin, star fishes, crayfishes and an octopus living in a shell. As a rain shower hit us in the middle of the island, the golf club staff let us jump on the golf car and drove us to a dry place. In the hotel we had booked just breakfast, so that we ate lunch or dinner mostly in the village (20minutes walk, Taxi 400 MRU) We recommend Chez Tino with a good local offer and La case poisson for fresh fish like Capitain or Gueule pavee (plates 250-400). If we could announce an employee award for the best service in the Friday Attitude we would announce it to Mrs Pinky! She was outstanding friendly, helpful, smart and customer oriented and made our stay even more pleasurable.”

“suberb! location, no matter how nice they are, pictures do not do this place justice. from booking to the farewell (when the villa manager got up before 6AM to bid us good bye) service was impeccable. daily breakfast and dinner (a la carte of half board offered) were brought to our sea front villa; generous portions and excellent quality; the fridge was stocked with drinks charged at very reasonable prices, all tour or restaurant bookings done by Aved, the villa manager - competent, friendly, reliable, charged at fair prices again. do NOT choose this villa if you are looking for night life and crowded beaches with lots of action - but if you are looking for the most relaxing holiday ever, this is the place to book.”

“La petite villa is a great place to stay while you are on Mauritius. The House is spacious, has all you need and it is in a quiet residential area. Luckily there is aircon, as it was very hot during our stay. The public beach of Trou d'eau Douce is 5 min away and into the village center with its shops and snack restaurants it is 15 min by foot. Check out the public beach next to the cemetry. It is lovely! We spent 2 wonderful weeks with our 1,5 year old twins at La petite villa. The kids loved the pool and the house too. Yasir is a great host, cares a lot and makes sure that you feel like at home. We can recommend a stay without any doubts!”

“Lovely hosts. Studio is large, across the street from the beach with parking and had all the kitchen amenities you could want. Would definitely recommend! Palomar beach is a short drive away and the best place we swam in the country!”

“SM Lodge was a Perfect place to start our holiday in Mauritius. The staff were extremely kind and helpfull - and funny! The breakfast is huge, tasty and cooked by two amazing ladies. Tom, the owner and his "right hand" DJ were making always sure that everything was okay and helped us to plan our trip. They even organized us and the other guests a barbaque at the beach for the Christmas Eve, which was super nice of them. I highly recommed this place if staying on the East coast. Though the accommodation is very basic it's clean and there is a nice terrace on the top where to enjoy a beer in the evening before heading out for a dinner. There is also a shared kitchen and fridge if you fancy cooking your own meals. Private parking was also a plus as we had a rented car. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff deserves five starts+++++!!”

“We have stayed in an amazing villa with a direct access to a beach and evertyhing was well designed for our comfort. Our first day was a bit windy and rainy but rest of our stay was sunny and warm. Except the open buffet at the bamboo restaurant the other a la carte restaurants provide great choice and perfect service. We have had breakfast in our villa and extremely satisfied. Fitness center and Spa at this resort are the best I have ever seen. There are plenty of water activities and most of them are complimentary. Ypu can hire a bike or just call a club car inside the resort. Great golf course and tennis courts are available. The staff was very helpful and kind. We would like to thank every member of this great resort. They have made us feel like we are home. We did not want to leave. Our next stop was Shangrila and to be honest we have missed Four Seasons quality, service and everything. The experience was like driving a cheap car after driving a luxury one.”

“This 3-bedroom villa was very comfortable and cool, all bedrooms had aircons and huge beds, clean bedding and towels. We stayed in villa #10. The owner Ravind was very attentive to our requests and even bought a new baby cot when we asked for one. Ravind gave us very warm welcome even though we arrived late at night and he also arranged an airport transfer for us with a very friendly driver who even helped us to find food at night and milk for our baby. The villa's size was more than big enough for 4 of us but it can accommodate 6 adults with kids. Comfortable couches in the lounge. The swimming pool was another highlight, it's huge and clean and we and kids enjoyed it a lot. The villa is located in a quiet security complex with a nice garden and the Palmar beach is right across the road. The beach is clean and quiet and was perfect for our little kids. Free wi-fi. Overall very nice stay.”
