“We have been to many hotels over the island but this one really stands out. The staff at this hotel are top class and really make you feel like a VIP. We are a Mauritian family of 4 ( eldest son is 20 and youngest 17). Iven (the manager) has found a great formula and his team do an exceptional job to always go the extra mile in putting a smile on our faces and in our hearts. Prince (at reception) gave us the VIP treatment the second we arrived till the very last second we left. Joanna did an excellent job to ensure that we were always being taken care of and was always close by checking in on us. Bhimal (Mr Energy) was excellent in his job and truly entertained us with his great humour and dance moves. He got the place buzzing in no time at all. In the 3 restaurants, we were happy to note that the service was standardised top class and people like Ravi, Deena, Ursule and Doro ensured we were always well looked after. The rooms are very spacious and spotless in their cleanliness as were the common areas. The hotel boasts 2 swimming pools and the beach is more than spacious enough to accommodate enough loungers for all. The water sports activities were well laid out and well thought of and if ever there is an excess demand, you may bide your wait with a match of darts, hoops, petanque or simply catch up on that much wanted tan. There was never a moment of not having anything to do. Our sons were more than happy with the facilities offered. All in all, this certainly was a memorable stay and the service was truly outstanding. We took an All Inclusive package which we got at a great bargain price. We would wholeheartedly recommend Ambre hotel to anyone (families included) and will definitely be going back there.”

“We stayed at Constance Le Prince Maurice as the first stop in our honeymoon. At the airport, our transfer was waiting on a BMW X5 with water, delicious cookies and other beverages. It was the beginning of an amazing stay of 7 nights! The welcome at the hotel was great, with the astonishing view of the pool, the beach on the back, and a few glasses of sparkling wine. The General Manager (Mr. Stephan Lagesse) was so kind during our stay and managed to personally solve the only two little issues we had regarding dinner location and massages. It could not have been better! We loved the place, the staff and the restaurants (Barachois is fantastic, great food and atmosphere!). Kel was our "personal assistant" during the stay, and he exceeded our expectations on every request. In summary, this was an unforgettable first week of our honeymoon!”

“It was great! We spent unfortunately only 2 days there but we loved it. We felt like at home. Mostly our children.The hotel owners are so lovely.They also have 2 children. The kids became very quickly friends. Shortly after our arrival we have been asked if we want to join them to an hindu wedding. Wonderful experience! On the next day we were invited for a barbecue at the beach. At the weekend the mauritians spend their leisure time with barbecues at the beach. We loved it! A wonderful day! On the 3rd day we checked out after breakfast but we were allowed to leave our bags in the hotel.The hotel organized for us a day trip to the „ile aux cerf“. It was beautyful!!! Nice beaches, waterfall, barbecue…After the trip we left very sad the hotel. We can definitely recommend this small hotel to everyone. The breakfast was nice and food in the restaurant is wonderful. The staff is lovely and the beach is just few minutes walk. On Sundays there is a very nice food market which you can reach by taxi. Thanks so much for the truly warm and welcoming stay!”
