  “The guesthouse is a great place, located directly at the the Nam Ou river. The concrete bungalows are clean and rather new (2012, 2015), with maginificient views over the river and the mountains. The rooms are quite big, with good and clean bathrooms, good toilets and a balcony with river view. Wifi, fan and nice seats complete the setting.Towels are renewed daily (and are of good quality). Breakfast can be ordered as you want, just ask what you want and the prices are OK. This is no doubt the best place in Nongkhiaw and the owner is keen on improving his place whenever possible. The owner, Mr Mang and his wife both speak English, which cannot be said about the owners of many other places. Mr Mang can also take care of trips and trekking activities in the near surroundings. Prices are better with him, since he is local and uses only local sources, unlike some of the bigger and thus more pricy travel agencies in the area.”
