“Very nice location. All is green outside with a nice view to the horizon. A very good and warm hot-tub. We were 5 at 1 room and this was fine but a bit small with the added bed. Breakfast was perfect.”

“This house is run by the nicest and friendliest family! Hanna and Halli are so warm and welcoming and their children are so much fun to be around. The place itself is beautiful and has everything one could wish for after a long and possibly cold icelandic day. Hanna is a great cook and Halli takes good care of the stash of cold beer that awaits one right next to their very own hot pot. It was an amazing stay and we are already planning on coming back!”

“The room was very new and clean. It had some basic kitchen facilities in the room and was very comfortable. It also had a hot tub outside shared by the three guest rooms that anyone can go use. We didn't use it as it was just too cold and windy that night, otherwise it would have been very nice watching the northern lights in the hot tub. It's definitely value for money!”

“This is a very special place in a beautiful setting. We were met by Abba, our charming and amiable host, who took time to get to know us a bit and offered us scrumptious home-baked cookies to have with tea and/or coffee. Our rooms and bathrooms were beautiful --- immaculately clean, generously proportioned, comfortable, and overlooking a lovely landscape. The beds, linens and duvets were crisp and comfy. We enjoyed this farm and its horses. Abba took our son to introduce him to the animals. And the family dog was just a hoot! --- friendly and frisky and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious --- freshly-out-of-the-oven souffle and home-made baked goods in addition to a variety of fruits, cheeses, cold cuts, cereals, breads, juices, etc. There's a municipal pool to enjoy in this little town. And ----- Laugar is only about 30 minutes away from Myvatn. We loved this place and hope to come back for a longer stay!”
