• The family-run Hotel Keilir is within 5 minutes’ drive of Keflavík International Airport. It offers a shuttle service to the airport, plus free Wi-Fi and parking. All rooms have a balcony.

  “We stayed here just for a night. I had used this hotel to be closer to the airport. As Reykjavík is 45 minutes away and travelling to Keflavík is expensive. By taxi it is 18,000isk and by flybus it is 3999isk per person. But taxi is much comfortable as you have flexibility and a lot of luggage can be handled. Coming to the hotel, we were greeted by a courteous reception staff who helped us with everything we requested for. He went out of his way to help us with our luggage to our rooms. Normally in iceland no hotel offers this service. Even kellir doesn’t but this guy did it for us. Rooms were very clean & spacious. Bathroom could have been a bit bigger but never the less very good. Wifi was good. Sea view rooms have balcony with a sea view but we had a city view. There are very limited options for eating for vegetarians. There is a restaurant called as kaffi duus. They also have just one vegetarian dish. Breakfast in kellir was marvellous. They also offer free shuttle to & fro to the airport. Overall we had an amazing experience”
