  “The front desk staff provided excellent customer service throughout my entire stay. They organized a Casbah tour, provided directions, and reserved an early morning taxi to the airport. I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort and spaciousness of my bed and room, which had a nice small balcony and city and bay view. The hotel was within walking distance to many sites, a bus station, and a close taxi ride to the airport. One of the highlights of staying here was the quality and care given by the woman who cleaned my room. She went above and beyond each day by making sure my room was always immaculate. She made my bed, washed the floor and organized my books and clothes!”

  “It felt like a home; the apartment had character in line with its Mediterranean location. I loved the decor, globes, multi colour lamp shades, spiral candle sticks, African art works. It was comfortable; the ample sized lounge beheld a dining table, a recliner leather a large TV, with plenty of central space to spare. There are balcony’s available to view the active city streets. The kitchen has the most character of all. It is stocked with every apparatus required to prepare and cook food. The apartment has heating and air conditioning units to keep life at the perfect temperature. The bedroom style is a modern, Algerian inspired theme. The walk in wardrobe is immense, storing my accoutrement with ample space to spare. The bed was comfortable, littered with scatter cushions to assist with a lying comfortably before hitting the hay. There is humble sized toilet with a tap operated bidet is located off the hallway. It’s separate from the Hammam themed bathroom that also houses a washer dryer. The shower, tiled, is modern, offering the perfect temperature and pressure. The T-shaped apartment hallway is a wide artery, allowing easy access to aforementioned rooms. Additionally, there is a second lounge room if you need more privacy.”

  “Situated in a nice calm village called Tamentfoust outside Algiers, about an hour drive from the airport, Residence Touristique du Port is a wonderful luxorius apartment hotel just beside the Mediterranean sea. The apartment I booked had seaview and panorama windows which gives a breathtaking view of Algiers and the Mediterranean sea. The hotel has shuttle service and can pick one up at the airport for an extra charge. The apartment I stayed in was like a large studio with state-of-the-art kitchen, large bedroom with huge wardrobe, comfortable king size bed, a large luxorius bathroom with bathtub and rainshower. Everything is brand new, spotless clean, the hotel opened just a few months ago. There is a lovely swimmingpool on the ground floor. The staff was super friendly, service minded and helped me with anything I asked. For ex, I needed some medication for my flu and their driver took me to the nearest pharmacy which was opened during the weekend for free. This kind service I appreciate immensely. The hotel is one of its kind in Algiers as far as I know and has five star standard. There is no breakfast served at the hotel since there is a fully equiped kitchen (with coffe machine, freezer, stove, fridge, oven, microwave etc) I could prepare my breakfast and buy supplies at the nearest supermarket, which was just a few steps from the hotel. There are several very nice restaurants also on the same street as the hotel and therefore I could enjoy my dinners there as well. Wifi was free and worked perfectly during all my stay. There was a huge flat screen tv in the living room and a small one in the bedroom. The bathroom had huge bath towels, shower cream, shampoo and hand soap. The apartment had big balcony towards the sea equiped with furniture. I loved the huge space in all rooms and I didn't feel much urge to leave the lovely apartment, it was so nice to be there. I would love to return to this beautiful hotel, it was so enjoyable.”
