“We stayed 6 nights and were very impressed by the Hotel El Marinique. Our spacious and quiet bungalow was very comfortable and had good facilities. It was immaculately cleaned each day. The location of the hotel is perfect being as close to the beach as you can be in Las Galeras and a two minute walk from town. The friendly owner Nicole speaks fluent English, Spanish and French and is always at hand to help with questions about the surrounding area. The restaurant area also had the best Wifi I have come across on my stay in the Dominican Republic. I can highly recommend this hotel.”

“The location was perfect, 5 min away from a paradise beach called La Playita. No noise at all which is an issue in the centre of Las Galeras for other tourists. The apartment was amazing: clean, spacious, decorated with flowers and nature everywhere. The couple were incredibly friendly and helpful, they both speak a bunch of languages together which is very handy. You can get all sorts of information from them for trips. You can tell the couple who run it make a real effort for you to have a good time.”

“My wife and I spent 4 nights at Labellaventura mid of March 2016. Labellaventura itself is quiet, clean and has a nice garden. The owners Michelle and Gerard are very friendly and helpful. They booked for us also a great whale watching trip directly in Las Galeras and gave us advice what else we can do on Samana peninsula. The hotel is not directly on the beach, it is a slow 5 minutes’ walk away from the main beach in Las Galeras and 5-6 minutes from La Playita beach. It is also just 5 minutes away from the main street with the restaurants. To sum it up, we liked the place very much and would book it again next time. Thank you Michelle and Gerard”

“I staid to the garden villa for three weeks during Christmas time and I totally loved it! Bill and Mel were absolutely amazing, always in contact with me since I booked (2 month earlier) giving me plenty of usefull information and suggestions and always more than available! The place is lovely, with a very nice garden and looks exactly as in the pictures. Is in a perfect position (5 minutes from the main street, with small supermarkets, restaurants and souvenirs, and 10 minutes from the nice "the Playta"!). I loved this vacation and if you look for a place in Las Galeras this where you should stay! Thank you Bill and Mel, hope to be back soon!”
