“The room we booked was not available, so we were offered another room in the main lodge which was just fine and an excellent price. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. Great 30 minute hike to a waterfall. The views from all around the hotel are wonderful, especially the lights at night. A glass of wine enjoying the lights is a great way to end a full day of sightseeing.”

“This was a lovely peaceful refuge for 2 days - there were only a few of us staying so it felt like we had this massive cabin to ourselves. The kitchen was excellent and very well equipped - good knives, 2 fridge freezers and great crockery! Plus free tea and coffee. The living area is spacious and with beautiful views into the garden. Hot showers, comfy beds, everything clean... We didn't want to leave! The staff were all lovely too and even gave us a lift to town for our morning bus when we left. Much appreciated! It's not in town but buses are easy and there's a lovely half hour walk through the countryside to get there. There's also a very friendly and beautiful cat to snuggle!”
