“Everyone (EVERYONE!!!) was wonderful! We arrived early and we were given access to one of our two rooms, so we had a place to put our bags while we went to Zip-lining, horseback riding and white-water rafting! The food was fabulous. The atmosphere is just what we hoped for!!”

“We arrived very late for an one night stop over but Maria (the owner) was waiting for us with a smile on her face. Although it was very late she also offered us that the kitchen can make us something for dinner which we gratefully accepted. The place is beside a river and you have a feeling that it is in the middle of the rainforest. On the next morning we had a very nice dinner outside from where you can see monkeys as well as an owl family. Maria also recommended a boot tour which we also booked and which was very nice, she also brought us to the place where the tour started by her own car. On the boat tour you see a lot of different animals such as Caymens, Monkeys, Iguanas, Turtles and a lot more.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Cinco Ceibas. Although the sleeping accommodations are basic, the lodge, the food and the people are anything but basic. The food was the best we ate in Costa Rica, the lodge was wonderful, the wildlife abounded ( we saw a cameleon while eating our lunch) and the staff are the most wonderful, warm and engaging people. I would definitely recommend visiting cinco Ceibas.”

“Wonderful large secluded home in the jungle that is also very conveniently located! We rafted the beautiful Sarapiqui river which is about 5 minutes away. The home was very clean and built with love by the owners who were also wonderful hosts. You could choose as much or as little involvement with the hosts as you wanted. Wendy's mother made us a delicious dinner and breakfast and her father introduced us to all the animals at the farm and let our girls help with feeding in the morning. Our youngest didn't want to leave!”
