  “It's a small, quiet spot, just back from the main road with a lovely private cabina. Beautiful, clean pool and grounds. You can walk to several mercados and several restaurants. Walk about 200 meters to a beautiful expansive beach. Great hiking trail within walking distance too. You can visit the howler monkeys on a short walk, but far enough that they aren't in your ear. Daniel and Tanya are very gracious and helpful with questions. If you choose to take the bus, it drops you within easy walking distance to the cabinas.”

  “The location of Casa Rio is fantastic if you're into nature. Although only a few steps from the caretaker cottage where Lucy and Fernando(?) live, your have the feeling you're alone in the jungle. We spent most of the time just sitting on the terrace watching parrots, toucans, agoutis, blue morphos, poison arrow frogs, flycatchers, tanagers, etc come by. The house has an outdoor kitchen, which was a nice change from always eating restaurants.”

Imagine getting up, going for a swim in the ocean - no worries, no need to take valuables, no need to plan for breakfast, no awkward changing clothes in a parking lot or sandy wet drive back to your hotel - the house is so close to the ocean, its perfect! The house is equipped with everything you need to cook wonderful meals while you hear the waves and feel the ocean breeze. At night its quiet, so you get to rest in the very comfortable king size bed and drift into sleep as you are serenaded by the waves and the sounds of the jungle. Check-in was easy and simple and Katia (who has the keys) was lovely! - We were running late because of traffic, but she was still able to meet us. Best holiday ever!”
