The pool is amazing, the rooms are awesome, the facility is very clean, the food is incredible and reasonably priced. The surf rentals are very close to the beach with an awesome smoothie and juice bar. We felt very safe here, there is drinkable tap water, and free parking. Lots of eating options around the area. We did not want to leave. One of my favorite hotels I've stayed at. I'm excited to come back when the yoga portion is built :)”

Staff is very accommodating i.e. late checkout. For 43$ extra you can have a four course menu for dinner in the evening which is excellent as well and you can sit right below the stars. We would stay if we could but we already booked other places. This is one of the places where I would come back anytime.”

  “GREAT place to stay on a medium budget. Relax beach feel to the apartment. It is spacious and clean, there is a fan plus air con which was a bonus as it was exceptional hot when we stayed. The apartment is very quiet even though it is adjacent to a surf camp hostel! The main bedroom is open plan with the sitting area and kitchen so it feels really spacious. There is a fridge and freezer as well as microwave, rice cooker and a well worn smoothie maker. The pool is a lovely addition, shared but usually empty. Big enough to stretch a few strokes and well needed too cool off. If you want the space and freedom of an affordable apartment this is a great find, the area is awash in fancy, expensive, high end options whereas this apartment offers a more basic, rustic, sea washed, simple accommodation. It isn't flashy but it was more than adequate for our stay. We loved it! We were very comfortable here. We parked easily on the road outside the flat. The location is wonderful, minutes from the quite Playa Pelada on the road to La Luna restaurant, and a short drive away from Playa Guiones which is bigger and busier and more "American" in nature. Our stay was for yoga so went to Guiones each morning/evening to the Bodhi Tree yoga resort who run a community drop-in ($15) or pass class scheme ($110 for 10 classes). Great yoga schedule without the $225pn stay! Its a 20 minute drive to Ostional where there had been a small arribada the night before so we got up close and personal to the turtles with a guide ($10pp arranged easily from the hut at the end of the Ostional Wildlife Refuge on the main road) go early am (5-6am) for best viewings.”
