  “We had a wonderful stay at Casa Chameleon, from the attentiveness and friendliness of staff to the perfect private jungle location with breathtaking sea views! Our villa was perfect with a great tranquil terrace and jacuzzi overlooking the jungle and the sea, the only noises we could hear were the wildlife and the plants in the wind. Food was truly amazing at both breakfast and dinner and the bar crew made the experience all the more enjoyable. Also the fact the hotel only has 10 villas made our stay very intimate and exclusive. We truly loved it!”

  “I discovered this jungle beach gem when I was looking for a place to stay last minute. Wow did I get lucky! The place is about 20 min walking from the Main area that has lots of bars, hotels, and restaurants. I had no problem walking but would recommend a car if traveling with kids or a big group. There are also taxis! I preferred this location being away from the Main Street as in the late night and morning Havana Lodge is very quiet and safe! During the day you can walk to the beach Mar Azul or hang out at their beautiful pool. In the evening there is an ocean side restaurant 5 min away! Best ceviche and paella! I recommend going before sunset! The room was very clean with a comfy bed and couch! The AC is a bonus and if you wanna stay in there’s a flat screen tv. A kitchen is also provided! The staff is incredibly helpful and sweet! I hope to come back again!”

  “I could go on and on. This was the highlight of our vacation. The small hotel is surrounded in lush greenery, where one can sit and just take in the sounds of the wildlife.. Sabine & friends really took care of all the guests with such a beautiful perfect friendly touch. The rooms are comfortable and if you’re lucky you will get to experience the sounds of the interesting howler monkeys. There are beautiful, well marked ( lots of uphill) trails just steps outside your room door, which can be a nice morning or late afternoon activity which will lead you to an awesome view from up above. Sabine prepares the most beautiful and filling breakfasts included with the stay. If you are lucky enough to be visiting at a time where there are other likeminded guests, the intimate common areas can be a nice place to spend some time making great conversation. The pool is gorgeous, clean and refreshing in the most tranquil setting. There is a fantastic yoga platform set amid more ouch greenery, but classes are not ( yet) given there. They would be a super plus! This place really is a 10/10. I didn’t want to leave!”

It was huge, and the bed was really comfortable. The place was quiet, and the air-conditioning and fan kept us nice and cool. When we had some issues with our shower, it was fixed immediately.”
