We had 2 times dinner, the man is a chef, so we surly cant complaine About the dinner , iT was verry good and easy for us . They give a Nice breakfast, fruits, yoghurt, Bread, eggs,etc. A basic but good breakfast with decent Bread from a german bakery . The room was recently remodeld ( new owners ) and we were glad we stayed there for our last Days . The WiFi worked good, not always the case in Costa Rica, we havnt used iT much, because we were doing things around Alajuela and San José . There s an AirPort shuttle, in 15 minutes we were there, even at rush hour .”

La Foccacia is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to, and I'm Italian and a cook, so that's saying something! And if I was a wedding planner, this would definitely be my go to place! The facilities they have on the grounds are perfect! We will definitely be visiting again! Thank you!!”

Rooms with aircon are available and there is an area on ground floor with comfortable seats to sit and enjoy drinks purchased elsewhere. Breakfast was included. We had a problem with aircon and promptly received another room. Staff at the desk helped us with arrangements to get into San jose as well as helping arrange travel to our next destination of Puerto viejo.”

They even provided pizza for guests the night I was there, and breakfast came with the room. Why stay at the Raddison when you can stay here for just over $50 USD? The hotel is in a safe neighborhood; I felt at ease walking during the day as a solo female traveler. A few grocery stores and common restaurants are not next door but within walking distance. A very comfortable, nice place to stay near the airport, especially if you have a car. They can call a taxi for you at 4 am if you need one.”
