Set in a building from 1895, Stora Hotellet's individually decorated guest rooms all offer views over the town and river. Each has ironing facilities and a safe. The room was quiet and comfortable. The curtains worked well against the almost perpetual daylight, so sleeping was not a problem. We had to leave early to catch a train, and they volunteered to give us a take-away breakfast, which was ready when we checked out. There are plenty of eating places nearby, and we lucked on a really nice restaurant.

This 4-star hotel features free WiFi and a bar. The property is allergy-free and is located 43 km from Östersund Bus Station. Very convenient location for me. Stayed at the cabins in three different occasions in the same week, arrived after the reception was closed. Very smooth check-in process, the key was easy to find and the cabin was perfect, clean, quiet environment and it had everything I needed for cooking.
