The host and his wife are very friendly and supportive. The rooms are clean and the bed comfortable. You basically live with the family. It is a place where you can just calm down. For me as a female traveller,it was perfect. In addition, the host can also arrange tours for a reasonable price (no scamming). The food they offered was very delicious. I would definitely come back.

A quiet haven amidst the busy streets of Varanasi, but everything is very accessible once you find your way around. The room was big, bed comfortable, and the shower hot. The restaurant serves beautiful, hygenic, food (I had lamb or chicken every night.) What really makes this hotel is the staff. From a welcome ceremony with a gift of Shiva necklaces, to a parting gift of photographs of our arrival, the reception staff and room staff were so kind and helpful. A special mention for Divakar in the restaurant, who helped with menu choices, gave lots of information about the city and his culture and even personally cooked my omelette on the last morning, which was delicious. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Hotel Taj Resorts is situated 500 metres from UNESCO Heritage Site, Taj Mahal. Offering its guests massage services and a sauna. Guests can enjoy relaxing at its rooftop pool. The staff is really kind and wants to help you with everything. We could still use the pool and showers next to it after checkout. They offer fairly priced taxi prices. Breakfast buffet changes every day. Taj Mahal within walking distance.

Offering a restaurant that serves Indian, Chinese and continental delights, Hotel Alleviate is located within 1.5 km from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the iconic Taj Mahal and the well-known Agra... The hotel rooms are quite nice, with clean bedding, room, and bathroom. From the Taj suite room, the Taj Mahal is also visible. But the photos don't do much justice. The hotel also has a roof top restaurant which is also quite exceptional with nice vibes and some live music. It also has another restaurant where breakfast is also served. The breakfast menu is not huge but you can be content as well. We were served fruits, sandwiches, puri sabji, idli sambar, tea, and a few more side dishes.

Hotel Atulyaa Taj features a roof top that overlooks the UNESCO World Heritage Site Taj Mahal, located 500 metres away. The room was very nice, clean and luxurious. Lot's of privacy and no noise at all coming from outside. The rooftop restaurant on top of the once downstairs was a treat. Especially the little balcony on the most top part of the hotel, with a view on the Taj Mahal was a great spot to work in the morning. It's just a ten to fifteen minute walk to the Taj Mahal. Lot's of restaurants and shops around if you want to eat out. There is an English restaurant right next to the hotel if you prefer a more western diet.
