Built in 1973, the iconic The Taj Mahal Tower Mumbai stands majestically across from the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea. I saw the gateway of India from my room! So amazing…the staff was great and the cocktails too! And the small stuff I liked, I received a towel for my glasses, bookmarks for my books and everything without asking. The breakfast ist extraordinary - never had such a great breakfast in my life!

We needed to store medication and staff was very supportive. Also we needed to extend the room and yet needed to move out of the floor due to scheduled maintenance. From the moment we entered (and even down the street when we arrived), the staff really looked after us, from booking taxis to arranging pre-packaged breakfast due to very early departure. Good to notice the staff is speaking good English (even excellent for the reception). The room was clean and quiet, despite some road work around the corner but never during night time.

Location was first class. Staff were exceptional and went the extra mile to helpful. Decor was sleek and boutique. Very comfortable stay.
