Aristi Mountain Resort sits on the highest point of Aristi village, offering views over the Vikos Gorge and the Towers of Papigo. We had an amazing stay at this mountain resort! Our room (No. 13) offered a breathtaking view of Mikro and Megalo Papigo, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The room was cozy and comfortable, complete with a lovely fireplace that added to the charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing us with excellent tips on places to visit and activities to enjoy in the area. Their local knowledge truly enhanced our experience. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature!

Hosts were very kind, the rooms were exceptionally clean, the food in the restaurant was tasty and well prepared. They seved us breakfast before official hours.

The room was spotless. The building is renovated and the room is equipped with new facilities. The fireplace adds a lot to the winter vibe. The breakfast was amazing, fulfilling, tasty and with a lot of homemade dishes. Olga was amazing, very kind and always with a smile! She makes staying there an amazing experience.

Situado nos arredores da aldeia de Megalo Papigo, o Papaevangelou Hotel consiste numa propriedade tradicional que providencia quartos acolhedores, decorados com piso e tectos em madeira. We came to do hiking tracks in the surrounding Zagora mountains. The hotel was a 5 star place to come back to. We really liked the place. The owner also helped us with transportation and food for the day even though we left every morning for an early start. Highly recommended

His manor house combines centuries’ old rustic character with twenty-first century cleanliness and amenities. It is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful nature of the Zagoria region and its stone villages, of which Yorgos, as a lifetime resident of the area, has encyclopedic knowledge. We let his suggestions guide our visit and they were perfect! And be prepared to be wowed by the breakfast, which is included in the price of the room. It is banquet-size and delicious. Besides yogurt, honey, marmalades, cut fruit, cheese pie, fruit pastry, and sliced salami, ham, and cheese, the breakfast includes coffee and eggs served as you like.
