We were upgraded to a suite in the old hotel, full of character, but with modern bathroom. Breakfast was in the newly converted hotel 3 doors away - an amazing conversion blending old & ultra modern !

This historic 4-star hotel, situated in the heart of the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, right in the Frankenhöhe Nature Park, offers enchanting accommodation in a Gothic style. The breakfast was a very generous buffet along with eggs cooked to order. Staff is super helpful and accommodating. Fabulous location! Very pleased, stayed a third night!

Centrally situated in Rothenburg, this family-run hotel is housed in historic buildings dating from the 16th century. A very nice welcome from the lady at reception. The bedroom was lovely, warm and cosy. Great location.

This 3-star hotel is in a quiet side street in the historic town centre of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It offers a friendly family-run atmosphere and traditional Franconian cuisine. Even before arriving at the Hotel Sonne, the manager communicated with me as I have some medical issues, and he made accommodations to assist my wife and I. The Hotel is right in the middle of everything. The restaurant is wonderful for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you have a car, the garage is right around the corner and very easy to get to. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. 5 stars service

This historic hotel was built in 1264 and is located at the Markusturm tower in medieval Rothenburg. It features a traditional restaurant and free Wi-Fi internet throughout the hotel. Rothenburg of der Tauber is the most beautiful place to visit. The hotel offered everything we needed and more. The staff were very helpful.

The property was incredible and in such a great location. The room was large, very clean, and had beautiful views. Otto checked us in and out and was an absolute delight. We were headed to Nuremberg next and he recommended we try the lebkuchen at the markets and we were so thankful for that recommendation - it was delicious!
